MEET OUR REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST

Carrie Grobe MS, RD, LDN has been a licensed dietitian for over 30 years and is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help them make healthy and sustainable diet changes that support their lifestyles. She believes that food should not only be used to nourish the mind and body, but should be positively enjoyed as well. Carrie takes pride in her extensive experience as an outpatient dietitian. Her active listening skills and knowledge give her the insight to work closely with clients to create their own individual path to wellness. Carrie values learning about each individual and their story and believes everyone deserves to have a healthy relationship with food as well as reach their nutritional goals.

  • Each nutrition session is personalized to you as schedules, food likes/dislikes, and health conditions are different for everyone; however, there are some key areas we may discuss together. These include the following:

    Understanding Nutritional Needs—

    • Macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fat) and Micronutrients (vitamins, minerals)

    • Water needs

    • How to recognize hunger/fullness cues

    • Meal/Snack timing

    • Nutritional supplement needs and information

    Practical Skills for Everyday Life—

    • Meal planning, cooking, recipe modification

    • Eating out guidelines

    • Navigating holidays and social situations

    • Movement/Exercise

    • Meal and Snack ideas and recommendations

    After the session you will walk away with a clear understanding of how to take the steps needed to optimize your health status, written materials, plenty of food ideas you will enjoy, and contact information to reach out to Carrie anytime prior to follow up sessions.

  • Please bring your insurance card (if billing insurance), a copy of your most recent lab work if available, and any nutrition questions/concerns.

  • Sessions can be scheduled for half-hour or one-hour appointments. For first sessions, one hour is recommended.

  • Yes, payment is expected at time of service. We take cash, credit, debit, HSA card, and Flex card.

PRICING

Medical Nutrition Therapy

Initial Session (60 minutes):
$80 SELF PAY | $120 INSURANCE

Follow-up Session (30 minutes):
$50 SELF PAY | $75 INSURANCE

Group Session* (30 minutes):
$30/person SELF PAY | $40/person INSURANCE

*Group sessions require a minimum of 2 people (couples, families, WWCS groups)
